Build Mode.. Objects By Function Drop down not working

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.55.105.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous, Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Get Together, Get to Work, Parenthood, Vampires, Dine Out, Laundry Day, Toddler Stuff, Luxury Party Stuff, Holiday Celebration Pack and Grims Ghoulish Guitar
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? with Luck.. lol I go into build mode... to the Objects by Function. I go to use the drop down box... and nothing happens it does not drop down..
What happens when the bug occurs? Nothing happens when I use the drop down menu.. I click on the arrow and nothing happens
What do you expect to see? I expect to see what I have always seen a list of drop down choices.. for objects by function
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

This happened after the update last night. I do have mods installed. like SOL and MC But nothing that actually works with Build mode.  and some custom content like clothing and some textures But all was fine Before the current stairs update... I made no changes.I does work when I disable the Custom Content and Mods like you do for updates.. . Not sure what to do now..or to figure out what is actually affecting the Objects by function... all else in Build Mode works but that one thing. I can still build. but, I like that Objects by Function tab.

    @RavenLure Are you using UI Cheat extension ? If so, please update that.

    Reports in the bug forum always need to be tested on a vanilla game as mods are not supported by EA and all errors with them must be taken to the creator and not AHQ.

    I would like to add that when the mods are installed I cannot see my needs tab either .....I am trying to take a picture but well not good at it in game. not sure how to go about it to show you the UI.. but some function box appears when I click the needs tab..  when I get a pic I will post it.

    My menu is also not working. It worked for a couple of hours after the update, but mid-game it just went out. 

    NOTE: I do use mods and cc, but I DO NOT use the UI extension mod.

    @crinrict The UI extention seems to have been the culprit for me. Thank you and I will find and update it later.. work calls again..

    Asking the community because by this point I know it's a mod. (Tested with disabled mods and it works fine in vanilla game.)

    So I have updated the UI Cheat Extensions and I am still having this issue. Does anyone know what mod it could be? I have even fully disabled the UI Cheat Extensions mod and am still encountering this problem. I'd just like to know which mod it is so I can focus on either deleting or updating that mod. I don't want to disable all of my mods for just a single broken one!

    (I have also installed the most recent version of MC Command Center. A mod I am not willing to go without.)

    Make sure to update UI Cheats and delete any old versions of it. I had a couple older files loose in my mods folder. Deleting those files fixed the dropdown bug and the needs tab being borked.

    @Druindo Yeah it turns out I did have another UI Cheats Extension file hidden in my mods, the sneaky thing. XD I also used Mod Conflict Detector and did a deep scan to help me find other possibly broken or out of date mods.
