build/buy mode color

I've never posted on the forums here before, so forgive me if I am duplicating a topic or don't provide enough information, though I did search both under bugs and the forums before posting.

I've recently starting playing Sims 4 again and started building a house. One of my favorite features in build/buy mode is the filter, specifically filtering by color. I like that it shows all the options so that you don't have to pick something and then look at each color option available individually only to find out that it doesn't fit your needs. I noticed last night that some things are not being included with the filters and I was wondering if this was a bug or if I'm doing something wrong.

A quick example is the Small Plain Tiles tile pattern that is part of the Jungle Adventure DLC. It's clearly blue in the thumbnail, but when I select the blue filter, it isn't an option. There were several other things that had the same issue that aren't from the Jungle Adventure DLC (e.g., the bunny totem kid's decoration which wasn't an option even when I selected every single color filter). I included screenshots so you can see what I mean. Is this working as intended? I realize that it's a very superficial problem, but it really is one of my favorite features.

I don't have any CC and I cleared my cache, repaired my game, and even started a new game in case my save was corrupted (which doesn't seem like the type of thing to cause this, but I wanted to be sure) and have the same issue. I assume that color "tags" just haven't been associated with all the items, but wanted to make sure that it was actually something with the game and not just user error.

    Something is wrong here. You still should have these options. Looks like same files in your current game folder responsible for these options are damaged. Repairing the game will not help you because it fixes only files in your installation folder, not in your current game folder in the Documents.
    But TS4. this is such a strange game that can regenerate itself and fix itself. You just need to help her a little. EVERYTHING that is in the game folder in Documents can be thrown into the trash basket but as soon as the next day you turn on the game there will be a miracle - everything will be shown there again. Of course, all but the contents of the folders that you filled up. So there will be a Tray folder - this is your library but empty. The same applies to the saves folder and mods folder. So the only three folders that you need to protect are saves, mods, and Tray. Why do you need to copy the TrayDeleteItems file? You can skip it but in this file are all the houses that Maxis once placed in your library and you threw them out. If this file is not copied, again these houses will fill your library and if you will like to throw away this "gift", it will take you 15 minutes.
    Go to Documents/ElectronicArts - inside will be The Sims4 folder
    Step 1. Rename The Sims4 folder to "The Sims4 old"
    Step 2. Fix the game in Origin
    Origin/Library - right-click on TS4 - option "Repair game"
    You have to wait until Origin will fix all packs, not only the base game.
    Step 3. Turn on the game - a new game folder will be created and you will have two - one old, one new
    Step 4. Check if you still have this problem in the newly created game folder. Start a new game with a random sim, go to the building mode and check if it is working properly now. If yes
    Step 5. Delete in the new game folder following folders:
    "saves" and Tray.
    Step 6. Go to "The Sims 4 old" folder and copy - your "saves " folder.
    Step. 7, Paste this folder in a newly created game folder.
    Step 8. Do the same with Tray folder and TrayDeleteItems file
    Step 9. If all is OK - delete The Sims4 old folder.

    Followed all the steps, up to step 4 and still have the same problem in a completely new, fresh game ☹️

    @jiejones 

    I am very very sorry. I didn't understand your question well. I don't use color filters myself - I choose tiles without this filter according to the colors with which they are marked in the building panel.
    Only now thanks to you I discovered that you can choose them by choosing the color in the filter.
    And you are right, this color filter no longer works. 

    If you're not mad at me to ask you before for so much work unnecessarily, I'd like to ask you to report this bug on the bug section.
