Burning Belly Sims 4 Bug

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.59.73.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? EPS: I just don't own the most recent EPS: Island Living and Discover University. GP: I don't own Vampires, Strangerville, Jungle Adventure and Realm of Magic. SP: None
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Two days ago, while I was playing one of my sims got a buff related to the "Burning Belly". Even though I have Get to Work, my sims doesn't get sick so often, so I ignored the buffs of the symptoms such as: Fever and Nausea. I tried everything, I got my sim over medicated and the thing I still don't get is that, he the burning belly buff someway get "stuck" and couldn't get rid of it (Despite having him go to take its medicine, his orange juice and the healthy green tea). I wanted to cure him "without any cheats or mods" as it should be. But, yesterday I had to download the "Visit Hospital Mod" by KawaiiStacie to get a diagnosis from a doctor, a medicine again to see if he got cured (The mod worked perfectly, my sim got checked and everything). He took his medicine before ending the event that allowed to go to the hospital (But he wasn't getting better, I could take him to have like 10 bottles of medicine with a split of a second, and the overmedicated buff / dazed didn't show up until a sim day passed or so..) I had to get him to be checked again in the hospital and still wasn't getting better. He now has like one sim week without getting to work. I have read on the internet about the illness (Bunring Belly seems to require surgery) But how is that so? Without mods, cc your sims can get treated in the hospital .... so how is he going to get a surgery for that or even a cure? It is so annoying, I gave up and get rid of that buff thanks to MCC (MC Comamnder Center). I never got a L.E (Last Exeption) so I don't know if this is a bug or what, but I wanted to report it just in case. Other than that tiny complain of mine, the game has been working perfectly.
What happens when the bug occurs? It is just annoying your sims can't get treated or receive the diagnosis properly, without having a doctor in your family or something. Hopefully this can be improved (having a nurse NPC to go to your house, or allow our sims to go to the hospital instead of always getting "natural remedies" to cure their illnesses). Thanks beforehand for your time and your help. I had already saved the one without the buff but I got a backup that reproduces the problem I am writing about. ‌
What do you expect to see? To get this fixed as soon as possible, thanks.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I am going to share the save file that reproduces the problem. There's two versions, you have to look for the family that says (in the Load Game): Reed, go to Brindleton Bay and look for the Hastings Family (and play with Trey) you should see he has a burning belly buff...

  • @Simtasticgallery I think it's some mod causing the issue. I can't duplicate the moodlet on either of your games on that Sim.

Could you test on a copy of the game without mods ?

@crinrict Yeah I will as soon as possible, thank you :D. By the way, when it shows up in a moodlet (something as: Rock Medium Group) do you have an idea what is it?

@crinrict Yeah, well let's see how it goes. I will contact you through Twitter tomorrow (here it is still Thursday). 🙂 Thanks once again for your help!
  • @Simtasticgallery I tested your save and wasn't able to duplicate the moodlet. I'm moving this to tech for further troubelshooting.

    Might be mod related.
