Butler Doesn't Vacuum as a cleaning task with Dust Kit

I got the dust kit and the butler won't vacuum the floors even though there is a vacuum in the house, not in anyone's inventory. I have also had members of the household ask the butler with the option "ask to help clean" from the dust kit and the butler will agree and then not do anything. Is this a bug or is that just not something that they are going to handle?

    I am hoping I have found a workaround - gifted my butler a vacuum cleaner and now they're vacuuming my sims' house

    @BakerStreetBasil The butler should to it. Probably best if you create a bug report in the bug forum

    Please before doing so, test without mods/cc if you have any and also try a different house to see if it's a general issue or just that particular house.

    I worked around gifting my butler with a vacuum cleaner. It's not ideal, but she does it every now and then...
