@WarDragon72345 DId manually installing the redistributables work or did you also have issues with that ?
Just makeing sure as I'm a bit unclear on what you did.
You uninstalled all redistributables and then manually reinstalled them or did you uninstall them and let them reinstall by installing Sims ?

I went to reinstall them manually by going directly through the files then tried reinstalling Sims 4 since I wasn't sure which would work. As it turns out, neither.

Namely the run as administrator. You might also need to reinstall 2015. Make sure you install the 64 bit version.
(the faulty update will probably not apply to you)I can't install/reinstall a redistributable and that site sadly wasn't able to provide me with a solution that worked.
