Deleting localcache files deleted all of my saves
Platform: PC Mods: Yes Game version: 1.120.117.1030 DX11
My WW mod was acting up and turbo said to delete localthumbcache and localsimtexturecache. I did that and when I loaded into my game, it was like brand new and all my saves were gone. I tried putting the old cache files back in but that didn’t help. Google said to make a new sims 4 file and I did but there’s no save files to put in the new one.
So I deleted my local cache files and that deleted all my saves.
emmaisthecoolest Your save files shouldn't have been touched when you deleted the other files. Are you sure you didn't accidentally delete the saves folder too? It can happen if you're highlighting and deleting multiple files or folders at once.
