Can’t launch the game

I've had a similar problem.  It doesn't show an error message for me but it just doesn't do anything besides minimize the EA app. I tried removing my mods folder and repairing my game nothing has worked so far.

Nothing really happens for me. I click the play button and wait and wait and wait and nothing. I have to literally go into task manager to close it down and it shows up in the lower portion of task manager instead of where it usually is in the top portion.

Hi, I just experience this issue by now. Same as you. ( 1 )

I already try these step :

#1 I "clean" my save and mods out, and launch again, still have this issue.

#2 Try to uninstall the game and re-install, still have issue as first step.

I still need anyway for fix this issue or else please update new patch for this.

As I try to search for more information. There's a thing call Ransomware Protection if you are using Windows Defender.

as @puzzlezaddict said; you have to add TS_DX9_x64.exe into the exception so the game would be run as well.

After you done this, issue is fixed.

I tried making an exception to the .exe file but had an error come up (see attached).

@ladykyera999  Does your current user account, as in, what you sign into when you start your computer, have admin rights?  You can check under Users & Groups.  And please let me know what antivirus you use, and whether this computer is provided by your work or school and might have some extra security settings.

It says I'm the administrator but I don't know if I have admin rights. I have attached a picture of it saying my admin status. I use Malwarebytes for malware protection.
