Can I delete these folders?
I'll have to paint a little backstory here:
So i've been always playing on origin/ea app, but since i'm from Poland, the origin version fo the game only allows me to play in my native language, and I wanted to play in English. But I read that if you get the base game from Steam, and link the Steam and EA accounts, i can play my origin DLCs with the Steam base. Which worked, the game opens in english.
But I did that without uninstalling the game first on EA App, and when I opened the EA App, it only showed me the Steam base game, and made me redownload all my DLCs to it.
I redownlaoded few, and opened the game (to check if the language changed). I had some old save I forgot to delete, which showed me that the game only saw the redownloaded DLCs (telling me that i'm missing some of the required packs by the save).
The thing is, i still have the Origin folder with all the DLCs i had. Idk why its Oriign one since I played on EA App, but nevermind.
So since the game only sees the redownloaded DLCs and basically only those that are in the Steam folder now, can I safely delete that whole Origin folder? Because obv its taking up a lot of valuable space on my computer, and it seems like the game doesn't see it anyway?
@cheesegaiyke Yes, you can delete the Sims 4 folder inside Origin Games. When you launch the Steam install of Sims 4, the game data used is from the Steam install; the Origin install is completely ignored.
After you've deleted the folder inside Origin Games, restart your computer, clear the EA App's cache:

and then see if the missing packs will download this time.
By the way, the old Sims 4 folder is probably inside Origin Games because you originally installed the game using Origin. Installing the EA App doesn't change the location of already-installed games.
