Can i play sims 4 with a joystick?
I'm having difficulty using my touchpad and my keys on my laptop to play Sims 4 and I was wondering if I could use a joystick, a plain joystick to play the game with
@lefteye917 Sims 4 doesn't support joysticks, nor does the EA App. But Steam supports controllers, at least. I don't know whether your particular brand of joystick is usable; that would be a question for other players on either the Steam forums or reddit. You wouldn't necessarily need to find a Sims 4 player; the question is whether Steam itself works with the joystick. I do know that some Sims 4 players use some kind of controller with the Steam version, so it's certainly possible in theory.
The relevant feature in Steam is called Big Picture Mode:

Since the Sims 4 base game is free to play, it wouldn't cost anything but time to try to make it work. And even if there's no official support, the accessibility community is very active and very creative and may have viable workarounds to offer you.
