Can you load Sims 4 onto an external hard drive?

My PC doesn't have enough space, can anyone answer this for me?

@serenrix  You can install and run TS4 from an external drive. But usb drive sometimes will have the drive designation change and the game will not work when this happens. Also there is a performance drop as external drives are slower then drives attached to the main computer. When you have more demanding packs this could cause play issues. You will have to uninstall the game - configure Origin to use the external device and then reinstall. You could get a bigger drive and if the drive is of the same type (sata to sata for example), the drive can be imaged and the extra space can then re partitioned into the primary partition giving you a larger system device.
