Candle Making Animation Trouble

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.65.70.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Using any candlemaking action EXCEPT dipped candle
What happens when the bug occurs? The animation stops. The action will complete, but my Sim freezes any kind of animation.
What do you expect to see? The full animation for all candles that's displayed when my Sim fabricates a dipped candle
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

Hi! So anytime I have my Sim fabricate a candle, for any candle EXCEPT Dipped Candle, the animation completely stops. The action will complete, but my Sim will be frozen. None of the animation occurs that occurs when the Sim fabricates a Dipped Candle. This has been going on since I purchased the Eco Lifestyle pack. I thought it might get fixed after the next patch so I didn't report anything, however a patch/update has occurred, and it seems no one else is having this animation issue.

    This is definitely still an issue today. The candle making animation just has them standing there and that’s it until the candle is complete.

    Since the OP never came back to answer the troubleshooting questions, it is hard to know if they did have an issue or not. 

    @mellocakesmakes If your sim freezes, that is, the sims do not move at all; perhaps clarify that.

    I tested to make candles, and the animations are different between the dipped candles (dipping in the pot); and the molded candles, which just is the sim pouring the fluid in a mold, then waiting looking bored. The Carved candles, and the Aura candles have an extra animation after that, of the sim carving the shape on the molded candle.

    If you don't have an issue, perhaps post in the feedback section. I agree that the animation of waiting for a candle to fixate is somewhat silly; in real life you do not wait in front of a wall for the paint to dry.
