@misalignments I am able to change the wall style in the bedroom (and other areas) of 18 Culpepper House without encountering any errors. Did you modify the apartment at all prior to attempting to change the wall style? Sometimes modifying the structure can create problems in apartments.
If you haven't already, please try 1) clearing your cache, 2) repairing the game via Origin, 3) starting a new save, and 4) trying to change the wall style in the new save. Please tag me (type @BryonyRae for further assistance.
