Game freezing (?) when loading into CAS.

Whenever I try to edit my household in CAS, it loads to the point where I can see the sim and can rotate them and zoom in, but can't edit their clothes or body/face at all. I can't see their name/information in the top left, and I can see the game menu on the top right but can't click on anything, so I'm forced to Alt+F4 and relaunch the game.

I've tried clearing my localthumbcache, updating drivers & repairing the game. I can use CAS normally in a newly created household, but not in a prior existing one.

I do use mods & CC, but it's all up to date, and I've checked Scarlett's mod list to see any broken ones, but can't find anything.
