Thank you again. I use those regularly, but they will not work for this Sim.
I'm curious. Why did you decide to split the mother from the household in the first place just to later re-add her from the gallery? I think the game sees that the child already has a mother and thus refuses to give him an additional mother as you can only have one mother and one father.
