@beemeat and @berylspring Have you installed Sims 4 through the EA App, Steam, or Epic? Does it help to uninstall and reinstall the EA App? Please do so with Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine), and restart your computer before reinstalling.

@puzzlezaddict Tried this and unfortunately didn't work for me ☹️ Mine is installed through Steam.

@nim_chimpski @lfnagy @bbysharkie @Lucie995a @arteartemisss and anyone else who comes across this, what antivirus do you use, and does it help to (temporarily) disable it? As long as you don't do anything else at the same time, your computer should be safe, and this is the fastest way to test. You may need to repair the game before launching it, and I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the EA App as well with the antivirus disabled.
For anyone who hasn't mentioned it already, please also note whether you're playing through the EA App, Steam, or Epic.
- 8 months ago@puzzlezaddict Thank you for checking on us!! I unfortunately already went through the uninstalling process and lost all my progress, which sucks butt. But I use Avast for my antivirus, but I've never had any issues with it in the past...
