August update broke my save file

Through the advanced launch options I have quite a few disabled packs. I have never used said disabled packs in current save file since they have been disabled :’) but since the update I can’t open my save file without risk of it becoming corrupted since it all of a sudden needs all my disabled packs to work properly. I assume this problem comes from the new ”Choose packs” option in game but since I disabled packs through the EA app I’m really frustrated. I’ve uninstalled all my gameplay mods and repaired the game but the problem has remained.
