Weird graphical glitch showing random windows everywhere

As the title says I'm getting this weird bug where it looks like window objects are randomly showing up everywhere.
As a fix, I've tried repairing my game, deleting caches and then restoring the deleted cache, disabling mods, loading older saves, and restarting my PC but nothing has worked so far.
I've attached images of the glitch happening in game.

I'd really appreciate the help because I've tried everything and its still appearing.
Thanks🙂

So after some testing, I think it's just an issue with dx11 because all the graphical issues go away once I turn it back to dx9.

@LOGSTER9999  That still shouldn't happen.  If you use custom content, the creators might need to update some of your items for DX11, or Sims4Studio's batch fix tool might be able to address the issue.  EA-made items shouldn't have this kind of problem though, and if they do, I'd still like to see a dxdiag in case this is a graphics driver issue or something else going on with your system.

Sorry for not replying in forever. I kinda just gave up and used dx9 as a solution. But I've come back and tried it again after more new patches, and I'm still getting the same glitches. After more testing, it looks like switching between exclusive fullscreen and borderless fullscreen fixes most of the graphical issues, but then alt-tabbing in and out messes it up again. I've attached a dxdiag, but I'm not sure if that would be an issue because I know my GPU supports dx11 and 12, and I also update my graphics drivers regularly. I tried saving the lot to my gallery and bulldozing it to put it back, but that didn't work either. It does seem only to be an issue with that lot, though, because none of my other lots have the graphical issue. I also don't think it's an issue with CC because I've tried disabling all CC, and the glitches still happen.

  • LOGSTER9999  You're right, there's nothing in your dxdiag that would explain the issue, although I wanted to check just in case.  I will say that disabling mods and custom content is (somehow) not the same as removing the Mods folder, as in, some mod- or cc-related effects can persist.  So please test with your Mods folder removed.  You can use a new save if you don't want your existing ones affected.

You can also upload this lot to the Gallery if you'd like other people to look at it.  List the lot name, and list your username on the Gallery as well if it's not the same as your name here.

I tried disabling and removing my mods folder, but the glitch still persists. My username is the same as it is here and I've only got one lot on my gallery which is this affected glitched one. I will also just put "glitched" in the name of the lot.

  • LOGSTER9999  I've downloaded your lot on my Mac and don't see the glitchiness.  However, I also don't have all the content you do, at least not installed, so the game removed or replaced some items.  And moving or rotating the camera is very glitchy: it freezes up the game for 10-15 seconds, before I can do anything else.  It also eventually froze up my game for long enough I had to force-quit.

When I tried to download the lot again, I couldn't find anything under your username, which is odd, unless you just now removed the lot and the two households.  I didn't save it, just placed it, so I can't try again.  But what I was going to try was deleting the basement windows that look onto the pool.

I have no idea why the lot would've disappeared from my gallery I didn't delete it or anything. I think deleting those windows may have done the trick. Is there anywhere I can report this bug so it can possibly be fixed in the future?

maybe someone downloaded the lot saw it broken and reported it. no idea. but i can tell you a long time ago something like this happened. check ALL your mods for updates. also delete all the temp files/the game icons cache, etc. boot the game. it should be fixed even on dx11.
