Is Origin saved to your D drive or C drive?
Missed your question (oops) but my answer is in the post just above, Origin and the game are on the same drive
Anyway seeing that there is a big number of people having problems with the game crashing I'm waiting for a fix from EA, otherwise I'll ask for a refund and be done with it.
My computer doesn't have any problem dealing with Sims 3 all the add ons and around 5gb of custom content, so sims 4 not working ? certainly not my problem my comuter is fine and the game is installed properly.

You're specs definitley look more than ok.
Which drive do you have Origin and the game on ?
Also try this: http://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/781962/random-crash-to-desktop-possible-cause-and-possible-solution

Hey as I said both Origin and the game on my HDD drive, the SSD only has the system and some very demanding games (Sims 3 for example).
I also don't have any CC (just on case someone would wonder) and the game rases so quickly (like I can't play more than 2 to 3 min) so I'll try that solution but I'm afraid it'll crash before I get a chance to do it.

Would that be D or E ? you only said they were on the same drive, not which one 🙂
