Cannot start the Free Sims 4 - Out of Memory
When starting the free Sims 4, the game crashed after the Title Screen and a popup window (see attached) is shown,
Unable to start:
The game has run out of memory.

You have several errors related to Memory. Try to take out all RAM modules (do not touch the connectors with your fingers) Make sure the sockets are dust free (you can use air in a can to clean them). Reset the RAM modules and make sure they are properly seated.
If this does not help please run Microsoft Memory Diagnostics.

I don't think it is hardware related as Microsoft Memory Diagnostics does not give any errors.
In addition, games that require more RAM to run than Sims 4 do not encountered such error.
So it must be Sims 4's own problem.

Can you open Task Manager and let me know how much memory Sims 4 is taking up?
Are there any other programs listed there that are using up a lot of memory?
1. Task Manager shows 29.7MB for the process Sims 4
2. Only processes running are Orgin (EA Game Launcher) & Sims 4 (right after reboot & login)
3, Error now shows a different one:
Initialization error at startup
(see attached)
I also encountered an error similar to the message:
Unable to start:
