After the latest update (the one that added ghosts and Star Wars clothing) I'm un able to age up babies. I've tried in a couple of different househgolds, and the "age up" option doesn't appear on the interactions wheel. Any ideas? Help! lol. Thank you.
Turn aging on temporarily (you don't have to exit to main menu, just go to options while in live mode).
With aging off, age up on cake is disabled - this change is not listed in the log.

I was just curious if the people helping to resolve the issue got the fix from here or elsewhere?

Hi there! I am having the same problem but NOTHING is working for me; I reinstalled the game, played with aging turned on the whole time after hearing that might be a problem but still I am unable to age babies and it is driving me absolutely insane. As far as I know there are no mods similar to nraas' ones for sims 3 that would help me resolve that issue by aging the baby in a sneaky way. I tried baking the cake as well but there is no option to age the baby, only the parents. The worst part is that my game's been like that for months, ever since I first installed it which would be around September. I really hope someone will be able to help me because I am about to give up on Sims 4 for good
Hey I think I figure it out. It's kind of messy but it worked for me (i was in the same situation where nothing worked).
What I did was download TwistedMexi's set age cheat ( http://modthesims.info/d/535270 ) and installed it. Then I went into the game and enabled cheats, then enabled cas.fulleditmode. Then used twistedmexi's cheat (Can be found on his mod page) and set my babies age to child. The baby will probably still be unplayable, but will show up as an aged child at the bottom of the screen. Now, right click on an adult sim and enter CAS mode. The kid should show up and you should be able to pick his or her traits.
I had a weird time with this but it worked. If the child is still nowhere to be found after entering CAS once, try to enter it one more time and it should be playable.
