Can't attempt spice festival challenge/buy from stalls

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a Sim attempt the spicy curry challenge or purchase anything from the stalls at the Spice Festival.
What happens when the bug occurs? When attempting the spicy curry challenge, the action will either cancel before they can pick the curry up, or they will pick it up, only for the action to cancel and the curry to disappear. Also, upon purchasing anything from the stalls, my Sims will either cancel the action to buy it or cancel the action to eat it. Only foods on the buffet can be eaten. When purchasing food in the Spice District without the festival, it still can take several attempts to get your Sim to purchase their food.
What do you expect to see? Sims should be able to attempt the spicy curry challenge and purchase/eat from the food stalls at the Spice Festival. They should also be able to properly purchase food from Spice District stalls in general.

As of the most recent patch, my Sims can no longer attempt the spicy curry challenge or purchase and eat stall foods at the Spice Festival. Only the buffet food appears to not be bugged. Spice District stalls in general also seem to be bugged, at it often takes several attempts to get my Sims to purchase food from them. I have not seen this happening in any of the other districts.
