can't enter house, "go here", teleport, or go to work/school

Built a new house for a sim family I created and it is not accessible... but only sometimes. Mostly the sims generate behind the lot and cannot move. I cannot use the "go here" or teleport (right click) at all; they're not even options in the areas surrounding the lot like to dig or rummage in trash bins. Nothing. Sometimes after just standing for long periods of time they will enter the home through any of the doors, go directly up to the second or third floor, and interact with items and be somewhat playable. I can tell them to do different things. But, none will go downstairs into part of the main living area, some stay stuck outside, and none will go to work or school. Even though they stay home and are playable at home, if i select "go to school/work" it says they're already there and asks if I want to skip.

Very confused. Here's what I've tried based on advice in previous forums.

Evicted and moved back in

Moved into different homes several times (no issues with family in other homes)

Moved house to different lots and different worlds (same issue)

Moved different family into house (same issue)

Deleted all the doors and replaced. got rid of all lights and wall hangings. Rearranged stairs, Nothing worked.

The house is on the gallery already if anyone could look. Username is NEMJWK and house is called "Large Family Modern Home" (uploaded 12/20/2020)

HELP?!?!?

@SoyokoAnisHave tried several times, no change. Also tried disabling mods and resetting sims multiple times, no changes.

  • @NEMJWK Try a folder reset.
    1. Name you The Sims 4 folder in Electronic Arts to The Sims 4 Old.
    2. Open the game and see if this happens.

If this still happens there is a problem with that save.
Press +XP if it worked or if you need further assistance.

I see what you mean. Something's extremely messed up with that lot. Something is borking the entire first floor. Even things OFF the lot. All other floors work fine.

The problem is the downstairs living room. Not sure what. If you delete the entire living room and recreate it, it works fine then.

Don't try to fix the living room. Just delete it, recreate the entire room, and re-furnish it.
