Updated the game and attempted to launch but have been unsuccessful.
Have restarted computer, restarted EA, gone offline on EA, logged out and back in, attempted game repair in EA app.
Now what?
No error codes, the window for the game attempts to open then vanishes and goes back to EA app
bambamz1310 If you use any apps with overlays, for example Steam or Discord, please shut them down before trying to open Sims 4.
If that doesn't help, please force the game to launch in windowed mode. Open Options.ini, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).
If that doesn't help either, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
