@grv0eczqztr9 The EA App is still not always fully functional, unfortunately. Try launching the game through Origin instead. You can download it from the link here:
If you can't play through Origin either, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

- @puzzlezaddict Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm unable to launch through Origin. I had been able to until last night when I was forced to switch to the EA app, which automatically uninstalled Origin.
@grv0eczqztr9 Some people can still reinstall Origin, with the EA App still present and both apps will work. (Some are stuck with the EA App for whatever reason.)
If you can't run Sims 4 even after repairing as described, please let me know whether you can in fact still use Origin. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.
