Can't Play The Sims 4 no EA APP after canceling PC Game Pass
I'm having an issue with The Sims 4 on the EA App. I have the base game since 2014 and I also have all the content released so far (expansion packs, gamepacks, stuffpacks and kits). It turns out that I decided to subscribe to Microsoft's PC Game Pass for a while and after I canceled the subscription I can no longer play the game through the EA App or download it either.
- I've tried to uninstall the game and reinstall but it gives download error
- already tried to reinstall the EA App
- I've already tried clearing the app's cache
- already tried lowering the user account control (UAC) setting
- already tried to run the EA App in admin mode
the ONLY thing that works is if I re-subscribe to PC Game Pass then I can download and play everything, which is not fair or right since I PURCHASED the game and ALL of its DLC's.
I would like to play again, but if I need to keep the game pass subscription, I won't play anymore.
Please help me.

It sounds like you need the base game regranted to your account so you can access and play your game again. This isn't something we can do for you over AHQ since we don't have access to your account details on the forums, but the live support team can take a look and get this sorted for you.
