Can't recognize graphics card

After the last update I used the 50/50 method to look for my broken mods. When I was almost done the game said it couldn't recognize my graphics card and all my saved games were gone. I have no clue what I did wrong. I deleted all my mods and reinstalled the game with some new mods. It't still saying that it doesn't recognize my graphics card. I tried updating my graphics card, but that didn't work. I'm to scared to play now because I'm scared the game won't save. How do I fix this?
