Can't redeem code

Hey so I got The Sims 4 for Christmas last year. Spent a lot of time one then I started to get bored so I stopped playing for a while. Got some new games played them then I had the sudden urge to go load up some Sims and play. So when I downloaded it again because I had to get my computer wiped from a malware it all seemed fine. Then it told me to put in the code and I still had that code luckily and to my surprise it said that my code had already been used. So I thought "okay maybe its in my library still. Nope nothing was there Sims 4 was the only game I got on origin and I don't intend on buying anymore games on here because of this problem. Can someone help me on getting my Sims 4 back??
