MAITOPOM Just to be sure, are you playing in live mode when this happens? You can't save in Create a Sim; that's by design.
Other than that, is OneDrive running on your computer, and is it syncing your user folder? That's one cause of this error. To check, please view the location of the folder the game is reading, as described here:

And let me know if OneDrive is in the file path.
