@hippieswag1 As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see whether these issues are still present..
If that doesn't help, please let me know what antivirus you use, and whether OneDrive is running on this computer.

I did what you suggested and I was able to use the buy mode, travel to other worlds and save my gave... so does this mean I won't be able to use any of the saves I have in the original folder? I use norton security ultra and yes I have one drive on my laptop

@Regi67 This doesn't mean that your saves are necessarily broken, only that the problem is something in the Sims 4 folder you moved. The first suspect would be mods or custom content. If you have any, start here:
For the rest, test them in batches, or use the 50/50 method:

Once you've done that, copy your saves to the new folder and test them too. If they're fine, you can also add the contents of Tray (saved households and builds), plus Screenshots and Recorded Videos if you care about those, plus UserSetting.ini for the login rewards. The rest can be discarded.
