Can't Save or Go into Building Mode because "Taking Photos?"

I'll be playing the Sims 4 and everything will be running smoothly and then suddenly, the option to build will be grayed out. I hovered my mouse over it and it says that it can't enter build mode because it's taking photos. I try to save the game and it says that it can't do that either because it's taking photos. I exited the game without saving and repaired the game but it's still happening. Is there any way to avoid this "taking photos" mode or to exit it?
