Can't switch to sims who are at work

So my problem is: before I could switch between sims who were on active career duty (doctor) to those who were at home, and back. Now (after re-installing the game after long break) my sim at work does not have the option for switching ("lightning" icon). Instead it shows "two people" icon with standard "socialize", "work hard", "take it easy" options. Is there a solution to this?

My game version is 1.25.136.1020.

    And you could before ?

    Pretty sure that was never an option cause send alone works the same way non-active careers do.

    As far as I remember I could switch between sims, although now that you've mentioned it, I can't tell for sure if I did that with "join sim" or with "send alone" ^^'

    Anyways, thanks for the help, I'll just wait till my internet connection return to good quality and then I'll update the game. Thanks again!

    We've never allowed you to join a Sim at their active career after sending them alone. 🙂
