claramj If you place something in Build/Buy, does the Undo button temporarily become active or at least look like it's active? Redo wouldn't be active unless you'd undone something already. I'm curious as to whether the game is momentarily aware you've done something that can be undone. And please try ctrl-Z as well, to see whether the problem is the button or that the game doesn't "see" anything to undo.
As for the notifications, it's possible your provider is diverting the emails to spam or blocking them entirely. You should be able to see some kind of history to that effect, or else whitelist the domain.
