Can't update my my sims 4 and EA people can't solve their own issue

Question

I've tried repeatedly to update my game but it keeps giving me an error message that my connectivity needs to be checked or to just try again later. I Rebooted EVERYTHING! At one point it got to 11% then pooped out again. I called EA people which are somewhere over the rainbow in another country and they all disconnected with me instead of just saying hey I'm not sure...someone please help im absolutely LIVID and this shouldn't be happening!

If phone doesn't work try the chat, EA has really friendly people on the helpdesk.

I sounds to me like your internet connection just disconnects, maybe for a few seconds.

Yea they're friendly until they realize they can't fig it out so they disconnect u which they did to me...in the meantime I'll look that up

So do I because it really sucks!! So it wasn't the ports or my connection so I'm going to try backing up everything then uninstall/reinstall the game
