Career Panel Not Working

I will start by saying I have searched google for days and tried all the things I have found with no luck. I have no mods, I have no CC, and I have no idea how to fix this. 

My sim started in the noble career, and the career panel shows just fine. The title at the top and then the career path underneath it. My spouse sim is the problem. It shows the noble title from marriage and then no career. After fiddling with it for a while I have discovered that it is off screen on the right. You can just barely see the green part of the info bar in the attached screenshot. 

I'm at a loss. Like, the game is still playable, but it's annoying without being able to see anything in careers and knowing what tasks to complete to get promoted.
