CAS Glitch(es)?

@xquishi  Please try disabling any overlays you have running while you play: Steam, Discord, etc.  Disable Origin in-game as well: hover over your username, select Application Settings, then the Origin in-game header, and disable the option at the top.

This may or may not fix the double cursor issue; I doubt it'll affect the Xs being gray instead of red.  So the next step would be to test in a clean user data folder.  Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and cc will be in the folder you moved, intact but not read by the game.)  Let me know whether CAS looks normal in the clean folder, and we can go from there.

@puzzlezaddict  Sadly neither of these solutions worked and the double cursor glitch still happened, but the gray "X" issue did correct itself.

@xquishi  The double cursor is pretty strange.  Could you post a screenshot?  You might need to take a photo with your phone or something, since neither the in-game function nor the Windows snipping tool captures the cursor under normal circumstances.

@puzzlezaddict  Sorry, I forgot to mention that I did move the Sims 4 folder to the desktop, which was the cause of the gray "X" issue fixing itself. I have taken photos with my phone, so I can give you those. I'm not too sure if I did the clean boot correctly even though I did follow the directions because I wasn't sure what to disable. But it didn't fix the issue. So here are those photos you asked for.

@xquishi  Don't worry about it; people ask about these small details all the time, and it's easy to miss them or not notice a change right away.  Besides, the other issue was a real error, and you got it fixed.

@puzzlezaddict  I'm sorry to bother you again but I'm not sure if it is part of the game because, when I got to rotate the camera it doesn't show the camera icon. It instead shows a different icon and if I were to hover over, say, the neck of a sim it will just show another hand instead of arrows which I assume is supposed to be there. (Edit: I did go back to double-check the game before making this post to see if I ran into anything else related to the issue I had.)

@xquishi  You're not bothering me at all.  I think what you're describing is normal too.  I can't rotate the sim unless I click somewhere not on the sim's body, and even then, I don't see the rotate camera icon until I actually click.  If you only see a single hand icon when hovering over a certain area, it usually means there's nothing to do except select a category, for example when you hover over a sim's hair or glasses.

@puzzlezaddict But when I actually rotate the camera it shows up as the icon that has three different sized squares and an arrow going out to the right. And then if I did hover over a sims neck there would be a normal sims cursors and then one beneath it that's clenched, as if I were actually grabbing the sims neck.
