This just recently happened to me as well. Did you ever find a solution?
I've come across this issue, and what I found was I had a mod previously installed that was now outdated. Once I took that out and made sure nothing else was missing. I just resaved my game using Save As and was able to play the save as normal.
This may happen with outdated custom content as well, if you have specific cc items you may want search for those to see if they've been updated to the latest patch. - UPDATE: 07/31/2018 - PC 1.45.62.1020/ Mac 1.45.62.1220
