Cats and dogs problem

Hi.

I have a really big problem, that i need a selution to.

I downloaded and bought the cats and dogs pack today and when i made a family with a dog, the options around the dog were blanck with no text. The blanc boxes also were all around the game that hade something with cats and dogs. Everything is blanc so i cant do anything exept guess what to click. I tried to restart the game but that didnt work so i tried to restart my computer (HP), but that didnt work either. Then i went to origin and clicked to update the «app», did not work, so i tried again ti restart the game, but nothing happend so i tried to repait the game, but the nothing happend. Then i tried to click on the game again but then it said it was unable to work. So nothing works now. Was wondering if someone could help me with this problem and what i should do to fix it?

    Did you just check for an update, or did you choose to repair your game? Repairing the game causes origin to check the game files, so if something happened while installing it could catch it and fix it.

    I updated it first and clicked on the game to see if something got fixed, but nothing happened. Then i clicked on repair and the whole game was «unable to start». I dont really know what to do now.

    I don't know what to tell you. You could try reinstalling cats and dogs? I haven't had this issue or any issue really related to C&D

    I could try, but the game wont work at all now, so i dont know if the reinstalling of C&D will work, but i will try! Thank you!

    It just says

    «Unable ti start:
    Initialization error at start up.

    Ah, there's something I'm actually in the process of fixing with my own game now.

    For some people, exiting out of origin and using the file titled TS4.exe (Or TS4_x64.exe if your pc is 64 bit) works, but I don't think it's ever worked for me.

    (Edit: File directory: (Drive that origin and your games are installed on):\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\The Sims 4\Game\Bin

    Here's a thread for that error though. At most, I've only ever had to completely uninstall both TS4 and Origin and redownload them. Although, it's always a good idea to take out all custom content or mods, if any, that you have

    Tried to uninstall Origin and reinstall in but the same box came up again.

    Hi!
    Are you using any mods or cc in your game?

    Try to remove them and see if the game works better.
    For example, move the mods folder from C:\Users\Username\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to your Desktop and start the game.
