CC Eyes Not Showing Up in CAS

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.133.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? By downloading any CC eyes and trying to use them in the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? For default CC eyes only the actual game default eyes show, even though there's the CC icon over the colors. If I download non-default CC eyes and I look for them in the place the creator says they're supposed to be, they aren't there.
What do you expect to see? My CC eyes in CAS.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The June 3rd 2020 update.

I've tried with multiple eyes from multiple creators, they all show up in the mods list when I open the game, but they don't show up in CAS. I've repaired my game two times, once with eyes in my folder and once without, and I created a new Microsoft account on my PC and re downloaded all my CC and the game to try again, and the same problem occurred. I've tried with and without script mods in my game.

  • @kaitlynlabadiehaven't tested this out but thought you guys would know that the creator CmarNYC over in modthesims created this small program for those of you who have CC eyes/eyebrows/makeup that broke with the update 🙂 it’s called

TS4 Default Replacement Fixer - V2.0, fixes default eyes, eyebrows, and makeup broken by the June 3 patch

edit 1: super easy to do as well (just tried) and seeing how it actually looks in game here in a moment! Will edit again to tell you guys if it works!

Edit 2: IT WORKS! My CC eyes from Hazelios Aether eyes (all 4 human default, aliens, vampires, and pets) all work after I used the program! Just make sure if you have CC eyes that have shine, to not check off "remove shine" and to save the new file as another name! 🙂 happy simming!

EDIT by EA_Jason: Mod link removed.

  • Same! I don't have much CC in my game, a few hairs, eyelashes, some build CC... but I recently downloaded the Noodle Glossy eye default replacements and was a tiny bit sad they didn't work. I also tried the Whisper eye default replacement after I'd taken out the Glossy file, and they didn't show up either... ☹️

I Tried the fix in the video and it only worked for some of my swatches... I still have some broken cc eyes.

  • I am no expert, but i was having the same problem ☹️ so I found out that if you have a UI extensions mod, delete it. For me atleast it worked.

  • It would sure be nice if all these mods were just part of the game, rather than being mods. If this game were not nodded, I 100%would not be playing it. The mods are the only thing that make it actually fun...unless you're under the age of 12...maybe.
