So many reports now that removing cc sofa fixes this issue so I'm going to mark this as solved for now.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get sims to ear.
What happens when the bug occurs? When my sim tries to eat, the action is cancelled.
What do you expect to see? Sims should be able to eat.

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
I'm unsure if it is since the new patch (07/11) or since installing cats and dogs (09/11), but my sims are not able to eat (among other things). They can cook food, but when they go to grab a serving, the food either appears on the floor or the action simply disappears. I can't keep them alive without cheating needs.
I have had other issues from around the same time such as being unable to hire services (again the action will just cancel or never appear in the first place), some actions being stuck in queue for days on end, preventing other actions from being performed.
