MakaylahSlothy Is OneDrive running on your computer? That might be the issue here. And just to be clear, you should never move the entire Documents directory to an external drive. That's what the symbolic link is for.
If that doesn't help, please post a screenshot of the Command Prompt window showing the command and the error.
