Cheapest Laptop/Computer for the Sims 4

Hi,

Excuse me if this has been answered before, but I am new to the forum.  I recently rediscovered my love of the sims, haven't played since Sims 3 on my desktop years ago.  I found it on PS4, but am tired of sharing the console with my fiance.  I'm considering switching to the PC version, but my chromebook can't do much of anything.  Does anyone know of a cheap computer/laptop that is able to run the sims 4?  I could get another PS4 for like $250 so I'm hoping I can find something around that price range or cheaper?  Thanks in advance

    @allieeng13  A computer/laptop not only runs games but other applications as well. Computers/laptops are designed to manufactured with many different components. The PS4 is designed to play games with pre selected hardware with a dedicated operating system for playing games. 3D graphical games are demanding on computer hardware and this increases the cost for a computer. You may find a used computer/laptop but it wi9ll probably have out of date hardware. Given that a used computer will probably fall behind the technology curve. Used computers seldom gain valve even if you invest in upgraded components. A pre-owned PS4 is selling for $260 and that's for 500Gb model.
