Cheats Menu won't Close

Hi I have a problem please help me. I can't find any solution. So in my sims 4 when I open the cheat menu (ctrl-shift-c) and entered a cheat then I close the cheat panel it won't close. The area where you'll type the cheat is gone but the background is frozen. Please help me

    1. If you have mods move the mods folder to the desktop and try without.
If it will work without mods then copy from desktop your mods and CC and paste it in the new mods folder. First, paste script mods every time checking if the game is OK. Do the same with CC but if you have a lot of this, try the 50/50 method

    2. If you don't have mods use SheriGR solution for this issue

    I don't work for EA
  • @Ynnaffit25 Normally you close it now with either the ESCape key or hitting Ctrl-Shift-C again.

This was changed in the last patch. I've heard they plan to change it back... but I don't know for sure.

There is a mod by TwistedMexi that reverts it back to the old style.
