city living bugs

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.68.156.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except star wars
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? When in game, choose to visit an apartment that has Sims. My sims lives in Chic street.
What happens when the bug occurs? When knock on neighbor's door you initially get option to visit and then loading screen. When you arrive all apartments with residents no longer have doors or windows; unable to visit. Can't even get option.
What do you expect to see? A door that allows the knock option so can vist with neighbors.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The most recent patch for snowy escape; the updated patch.

Since the most recent Sims 4 patch I am noticing an issue with City Living. When I play and try to visit sims apartments when it loads I am unable to do so; it's as if all windows and doors are gone and you cannot knock on their door or interact. I don't see anything recently that addresses this and am not sure what if anything I can do to fix this issue. I have repaired my game and as of today everything else seems to be working fine.

    I sent my Sim to all the residential buildings in San Myshuno. The only buildings I couldn't enter were the Old Salt House, the Fountainview Penthouse, and the 1 Torendi Tower Penthouse. The Old Salt House was the same as any other unoccupied house. I arrived just outside the lot and clicking on any part of the house gave me the Knock On Door interaction, which was grayed out since nobody lives there. The penthouses were similar, I arrived outside the building and clicking on any part of the building, except the apartment itself, gave me an interaction to Be Buzzed In. This command was also grayed out since nobody lives in either penthouse.

    All of this is the normal behavior for my game. There weren't any missing doors or windows as far as I could tell at any of the residential buildings and every apartment door had either the Knock on Door interaction or the Ask to Chat and Invite to Hangout interactions.

    If the problem is at a penthouse, make sure you're clicking on the lower part of the building. If the problem is anywhere else, you should probably try removing mods and custom content if you are using any. Those are the only suggestions I have right now.

    @latricenl Could you please edit your post and fill out the bug form ? Seems you weren't prompted for it.

    Editing should help with that.

    It happens for all apartments. Only trying to go to ones with residents. Interestingly though, the apartments without residents work just option grayed out be sure they are empty. I did remove mods but didn't see difference, might try again.

    Actually after today's patch everything seems to be working normally again. Fingers crossed it remains that way.
