Royalty & Legacy not showing through in-game store

The new Royalty and Legacy expansion doesn't appear in the list of available packs within the game; it's as if the last pack added was still Adventure Awaits, even though the Tea Party Kit is visible and they were added together. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it? My game is an EA original, it's updated and without mods. I've already tried repairing and reinstalling, but the problem persists.

Hi all,

Thanks for the reports on this! The teams are currently looking into this issue- in the meantime, you can purchase Royalty & Legacy directly through the EA app store rather than the in-game store.

poetrygirlclub Does the content from the pack show up in your game? Please check if you haven't already. And let me know if some content is present and some is not, for example CAS items vs. the world.

Are you missing the pack at the Main Menu as well? Like this:

Sims 4 Royalty and Legacy Expansion doesn't show in menu - as it doesn't exist. | EA Forums - 13182335

Please also delete GameVersion.txt, in Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, to see whether it helps.

I have the same exact issue (pack practically doesn’t exist in the game, but EA app shows it). I’ve tried everything, but nothing is working. The game was updated, everything you suggested was deleted/cleared/reinstalled but it did nothing :(

Il y a deux cas similaires sur le forum français, et leur point commun est qu'ils possèdent toutes les extensions du jeu. Est-ce également votre cas ?

I don't purchase the expansion yet, because it doesn't even appear in the game's "store". It's as if the update never happened. Furthermore, just looking and the selection list within build mode is not working, even if a package is selected, its items do not appear. The same thing happens with styles, colors, etc. I tried to do what you said and delete GameVersiont.text, but nothing changed, I still don't have access to the expansion. The EP doesn't appear in CAS, build mode or gallery.
And yes, the expansion pack does not appear in the main menu either, just like the post you mention.

I want to buy the new pack but it's not even showing up in my game. The world, the filter, and on the home screen just don't have it (refer to the pictures added). The new kits are there, just not the EP. I've cleared the cache, restarted the EA app, and restarted my computer but nothing seems to work. I've even dragged my sims file out of the EA folder and the new file still didn't have it. Is anyone else experiencing this? I don't want to buy a pack that isn't even showing up.
