clothes not showing up when i use a gender filter

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Mac
Which language are you playing the game in? Dansk
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All (per. 22. february 2018) except toddler stuff, spooky stuff or whatever it's called, and luxury party stuff.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Yesterday I downloaded some CC for the first time and I think it messed up my CAS a little bit.
What happens when the bug occurs? Clothing items do not show up when I use a gender filter. None of it. Formal, athletics etc filters are fine, but i have to remove the gender filter in order for the items to show up, meaning that the items I'm looking for are much harder to find.
What do you expect to see? All CAS items should follow gender filter as usual, including the newly added CC
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

I don't know if it's because i did something wrong in the download process / in the Mods file, or if there is something more complicated that's wrong. D:

    Sounds like cc issue so it's not a game bug. Moving this to tech/general issues.

    Did you try removing the cc again to see if it comes back ?

    I haven't tried removing it yet, would you suggest moving my Mods folder out and the opening the game back up or moving the contents out of the folder?

    Even if it does go back to normal, i still want to able to have CC and gender filter at the same time :/

    I don't know which cc works with the filters and which doesn't. You would need to take that up with the creators of the cc.

    Try moving the mods folder out and then see if it works. If it does, you can start putting the cc back until you find out which ones are causing the issue.

    CC is actively supported by EA.
