Complaint/Rant: Honestly not having much fun anymore...

I've only been playing The Sims4 for a few months now, so still fairly a noob tbh. I was so excited to play, and I've put money into the different packs that I want to have a good time and enjoy playing. But lately I've been having so many issues that it's just not fun anymore.

Some of my issues include:

Moschino Stuff Pack-Fashion Photographer Career

I've read around the Internet that others are having issues with this new career path (i.e. submitting photos for approval and not getting image back in mail after approval), but along with that, and other issues, I am also missing the new emote changing tab on the left side of the camera screen. Is anyone else having that issue, or has anyone heard any other news of there being a patch to fix these glitches?

Reset Sim Cheat not Working

I've reset my sims with the reset cheat several times in-game, and on several occasions when I reset them they are still unresponsive. This most recent time when I reset them, both Sims were stuck in the reset "T" position, and do not revert back to actionable playing. I do not know how to make them responsive again, and usually end up exiting game without saving in fear that saving the game will leave them like this when I return. I also tried to access the testingcheats true, with no success.

Reset Entire Sims4 Game

I've only gone through and done this once, because I was having issues with save files. Before that, I had purchased a few expansions, stuff packs, etc. After I had to reset the entire game, I noticed that there were several Create-a-Sim and Build Mode items that weren't there prior to my purchase, that are now present after the game reset. Also, as mentioned above, I am now missing the new emote changing tab that came with the Moschino Stuff Pack that I was able to access before resetting the game, and am not sure how to get them back without having to reset the entire game again.

There are a few other issues, but I'm honestly so irritated that I can't recall them at the moment. I'm super bummed, because I've looked forward to playing The Sims4 for a while now, and its just been a roller coaster since I've gotten the game. I leave the game alone for days at a time, but then feel bad because of how much money I've put into it, that I feel obligated to keep trying at it; but then one or multiple of these issues happen while I'm playing and the cycle repeats.

Honestly, I'm just looking for any tips/advice/if anyone else has had these issues. I'm not sure what else to do, and the fact that EA doesn't give out a customer service email without filling out a survey and jumping through hoops to prove that its really the game and not your router/"your fault" is really irksome.

    Hi there @justanother_herp  Sorry to hear you're having these problems, as a new player also. 😞

    I've played since about 2000, and would be happy to give it a try, firstly, do you use mods or cc in your game?

    I have noticed the Moschino issue among posters, apparently there is a fix on the way, and is linked to landscape (vs Portrait) style images. Not sure I've heard of the second problem before, but will search a bit when time permits, and get back to you. Unless someone else has some ideas for you. Some screenshots of what you mean may also help.

    New items, is what happens naturally with additional New Packs, as for the game starting screen, that was recently updated by EA. and was similarly timed to the Moschino Pack and it's arrival, as Packs themselves don't 'add' a different start screen.
