Computer freezing while playing Sims 4

My entire computer freezes while playing Sims 4. I am unable to close the game or even move my mouse, and have to hard reset the computer. I've tried reseting my game data to factory settings with no...

I have the exact same issue with the Sims 4. The computer freezes up entirely, no way to move the mouse or get out of the game by using keyboard commands (ctrl alt delete, alt tab, alt f4 etc.)
