In game, buy desk. Place desk in appropriate place. Click to purchase computer and attempt to place on desk. Computer goes underneath desk in red saying "must place on large surface" or something of the sort.
Must fix, game is once again unplayable until fixed.

I split your post as the other thread was pretty old which makes it potentially a very different issue.
Do you have moveObjects on at all ? DId you try different computer/Desk combinations ?
Thanks. The only command I’ve used is “reset sim” when they freeze up, so if it’s on by default it should be. I have and I seem to only have the problem with the computers you get for rewards for completing the aspirations.
