Connect Xbox controller to Origin to play TS4

Hi there,

I would like to know how to connect an Xbox one controller to Origin so I can play The Sims 4 on my laptop. I have a usb cord to connect my controller to my laptop, I’m not sure how to set it up on origin so I can control the game with my Xbox One controller

Unfortunately The Sims 4 does not support Controller input on the PC. ☹️

I think it's just the EA app because my sister uses Steam and plays all of her games including Sims 4 with her controller.
