mslataprada It's fine to disable packs. There are no negative consequences if you start a new save with a pack disabled. If you load an existing save with a pack disabled, that pack's contents will be removed from the save, but even that doesn't do any damage under normal circumstances.
Outside of the occasional bug, the only ways I know of to damage a save like this are that your sims live in the world that's removed, or that they only have traits from the pack, in which case you probably couldn't load them. (Each sim needs at least one trait.) Other than that, it's safe, and if you don't like the results anyway, quit without saving and reenable the pack.
It's not supported to delete a pack's folder outright, that's all.

Ok thanks but I’m so tired of this game glitching out. I can hardly ever finish a legacy game story. But now I make sure I save my game to an external hard drive before I log off. It’s ridiculous
